My name is Jonathan and I am the owner of Dallas’ Best Home Buyers. My wife, Natalie and I have been home buyers in Dallas since 2013. We are obsessed with our son. In fact, he is the reason that we’re so passionate about buying homes. We love being our own bosses (everybody knows Natalie is the REAL boss) because we are able to spend more time with our son.
We have a passion for helping homeowners sell a house that may be a burden and transforming that house into something completely different and beautiful for the next homeowner. We pride ourselves on providing a customer service experience that is like no other home buyers that we know. A Quick Backstory
I am the son of a pastor and a hospital nurse, and was raised in a family that believes in helping others. A lifelong Texan, I was born and raised in West Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. After college, I took a turn at climbing the corporate ladder. It (only) took me 17 years to realize that wasn’t what I wanted to do with my life. My corporate job exhausted me and drained my soul, to the point where I became very sick.
Deep down, I knew that it was up to me to find a way to get well.
My illness took me down a four year journey of fighting and searching to find a way to recover. When I was sick, none of the doctors could figure out what was wrong with me and I spent every penny I had searching for a “cure”. I finally found a Naturopath who was able to guide me back to health – primarily through nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes. Once I recovered, I knew that I couldn’t go back to my corporate job and had to find a way to help others. The desire to help others initially lead to helping people who were sick. I believe that our mainstream medical system has failed us, and that there are many simple (although not easy) changes we can all make that will allow our bodies to heal and return to a state of wellness. I came across many friends and colleagues who were stuck in the “hamster wheel” of sickness and doctors I and would take what I learned in my 4 years of studying health to them get off the “hamster wheel” and on the path to true healing.
Helping people who were sick was fulfilling, but it didn’t pay the bills. I knew pretty quickly that I had to find another way to provide for my family and get out of the debt I had created in searching for a cure for my condition. I decided to pursue real estate and the first house I bought provided an incredible opportunity to help a family in need. It was a blessing for me and for the family in need, and I was instantly hooked!
Yes, we do this to make money, but it’s not just about the money.
Our goal is to help homeowners take back control of their situation and move on with a fresh start toward the next step in their life. We strive to achieve our goal by purchasing properties that are costing homeowners time and money, and keeping them up at night.
